I Drew This Mouse

I drew this mouse… with a mouse. What does it say about me, I wonder?

  1. Hm. Judging by the tail of the mouse and the direction its head is pointing, (west, if you are seated at the computer with your own body pointing north, or south if–oh, never mind), it says you were drinking a cup of slightly lukewarm coffee (or perhaps tea) and your arm slightly jogged due to the ingestion of caffeine and the inexplicable landing of a butterfly on a windmill in Argentina, which set the tilt of the Earth ever so slightly off–Or, you were bored.Off to read your review of the Morrissey concert and shirk work. Having read the comments of your first Morrissey post, I am reminded why I hardly ever mention my own musical tastes in public…most of my favorite artists don’t even come into other people’s radar. And I still don’t know what Morrissey sounds like. Off to a CD store, I suppose…

  2. OH! I thought of a really good literary comment about meta-fiction and the ironies of drawing a mouse with a *mouse*…But it’s gone now, and it wasn’t really that good after all…Later,Mel

  3. Hello Melissa.Interestingly, perhaps, I bought the latest single from Morrissey’s album today, and one of the B-sides was called If You Don’t Like Me, Don’t Look At Me.The thing with the mouse was, actually, because my Internet connection is so poor, the lines I was drawing didn’t appear till some time after I had drawn them. My drawing skills are rather rusty anyway, but this picture makes me look positively paralytic.I was bored, as a matter of fact. I don’t think I was drinking anything at the time, though. Not even tea.

  4. Thank you, Suzy. The mouse was not difficult. It was part of some weird pop-psychology test online. I didn’t think the verdict on me was very accurate, so I decided to hand the case over to the public. I can’t find the link now, though.
