My eyes are very bad at the moment and it is painful for me to look at a computer screen, so I may be avoiding computers, or severely rationing myself for a while. Please be patient if you are waiting to hear from me. My eyesight is important to me. Thank you.

Consider switching to an LCD.
Gee, I just thought that I’d add you to my friends’ list, after checking out your photo albums and your pet peeves.
take care and place some cucumbers on your eyes… or cooled off chamomile teabags on them…
I think the teabags are a folk remedy proven by science to do the opposite of help.
“I think the teabags are a folk remedy proven by science to do the opposite of help.”In that case, I’ll definitely try it.Thanks for comments folks. Just checking by, but eyes still bad. (Averting gaze from screen and typing in pidgin).
My eyelids swell up all the time and so I have to clean them out religiously! This is done by simply bowing down to Buddha twice a day, so he can have a good old twinkle all over my face! :yikes: Cleans my eyes out real good it does, but it does have a tendency to leave green oxidized copper stains all over my face. :yuck: That probably explains my ever so slightly green complexion then, hmmmm…I feel your pain. Please don’t take that literally.
Q,~~ take care and rest those eyes … maybe you also need a new sight test? Don’t delay – please go see the doctor or the optician (or both) please.Regards .. and look after yourself.Your long time and constant Opera friend – Lokutus :up:
:worried: take care Quentin…
i’ having trouble with my eyes too… and i’m sure it’s the computer straining them.
This is the trouble with blogging, so much time spent writing in front of a computer screen, rather than scribbling away with a pen and paper. LCDs are better, but they’re certainly not a cure!I’m sure my eyes will go kaput any day soon. I have to see an ophthalmologist at the end of May, because one of my retinas might get detached otherwise.Most probably not though, at worst I have to have some corrective eye laser treatment. Nothing serious, apart from having to take a bottle of my own urine to the hospital with me for testing! :(I wonder what they’ll find in it. :confused:
luckily they don’t test for everything when it’s diagnostic, eh?
You mean like steroids and growth hormone? *looks incredibly guilty*:left::right:
* chuckling
Hey, end of May, time to see an eye doctor!

Just keep looking, maybe you’ll find out.
…or you could go blind in the attempt, but then, do you really want to know the truth behind the headlights? :eyes:Personally I like weird optical effects in my eyes, they’re pretty cool! Though I don’t like the visual snow that I have all the bloody time!!! I have no idea why I have it, god knows, but he ain’t telling! 😡
