Uncle Authenticity

First of all, a belated thank you.

Thank you.

When you're paranoid… Actually, I don't think I'll finish that sentence.

Maybe you can make up your own endings like, "everyone remembers your name".

Second of all, I know that I am keeping people waiting over this or that. Sorry. If you're wondering what's taking me, you can always get in touch.

I'm reading a book called The People of the Deer by Farley Mowat, and I would like to recommend it. Of course, it depends on your taste. It's non-fiction, dealing with the author's stay with the Ihalmiut, a people indigenous to inland Canada.

No news is good news.

Arrrgh. Having trouble with dopplegangers recently.

There's nothing I can really say in a general sense that's worth saying, probably.

I think it was Rudolph Steiner who had a thing about not taking any hearsay at face value. It can be difficult when we're saturated with hearsay (news). Simply because of questions of time, we tend to take some of it on trust. I wanted my resolution this year to be always to remember that hearsay is only hearsay.

Well, carry on as normal.
