Very funny – in 1) I think I used a similar phrase in a post we are both chewing over in another area of your blog – the line came from a Brown/Squire lyric/Stone Roses – anyway it’s all part of the way we vacillate all day I believe.and 2) I trust my friends come to mine – they are already invited … bring a bottle and some descent CD’s + a DVD of my favourite cartoon “Wait ’till your father gets home” containing enough material to prick one’s conscience about prejudice, racism, ageism, bigotry, vigilantes, friendship, etc, what a weird and wonderful cartoon series – my taste and lust for life is broad – so why not on judgement day? Rob
I think I used a similar phrase in a post we are both chewing over in another area of your blog I’ll have to look at that again. You know, I don’t think I’ve seen Wait Till your Father Gets Home. I’ll have to look it up.It’s no secret that at my funeral, I want this song played:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=whSYTSXm8wo
You know, I think I’m going to put that song up as a separate post.
That’s great – I’m a fan as well – saw them when I was a kid (well 17) about ’77 I think? at the Electric Circus, Collyhurst, Manchester. What a dump but a great night. Rob.
Ergo, I will never know who my friends are?
Ah, no, I didn’t mean it that way. I meant, in my cheerful way, that friends are simply people who come to your funeral and do not exceed such a role in any way.But some of them don’t come, of course.
