I could have made the world (slightly) more beautiful

Another majestic song from Kodagain with lyrics by me:

I've been kind of busy with book and publishing things, but I really do want to help distribute this music to the world in some practical way before too long.

  1. Originally posted by JohnRenard:So when is the album going to be ready for sale, do you think?Well, there is an album available, actually, but you have to get in touch with Listen Loudest.http://www.gla.ac.uk/~dc4w/listenloudest/front.htmlI think they only take euros, but there’s an e-mail address there for enquiries. The last Kodagain album out was Letters From Quentin. Needless to say, this was part of our collaboration. However, since this is perhaps not the most convenient way for people to get hold of the album, I want to become a distribution hub myself. I really should pull my socks up about this, but I tend to be a bit clueless about these things.

  2. I must have missed that completely. Yes, it could use some better distribution. Sasa has a nice voice and they really remind me of something that I used to listen to, but it escapes me now.How did you ever find out about Kodagain when their albums are so hard to find in the west?

  3. As I say, not easy to get hold of. If you write to Listen Loudest, I’m sure he’ll tell you he has some in stock.Hmmm. I really need to do something about the distribution, don’t I?

  4. I came across Kodagain by the certainty of chance. A butterfly long ago lent me a book by Mishima and some years later I went to Japan. In Japan I met someone who introduced me to the music of Momus. Wishing, years later, to interview Momus for an online magazine, I received an e-mail from him in which he said he was busy blogging. What is blogging? I wondered. (I was naive in those days.) That led to this blog, which led to me meeting someone who introduced me to the works of Carson McCullers, which led to me, years later, finding this on YouTube:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rXtM0XcbJVsI liked it so much, I got in touch with Sasa.
