I just wrote an unsatisfactory haiku:
I finished writing,
Stood, was silently surprised.
When had the snow come?
You can guess what this is about. I am in London and the snow has just fallen. It fell when I was at my computer with my back to the window, and I noticed nothing till I got up and looked to see roofs, back gardens, trees, suddenly white.

Thank you.There has been more snow since. It has interfered with plans, but I cannot begrudge it. I dream of a bed of snow…
