Perhaps you've noticed that this blog has been quiet for a while. That is partly – but only partly – because I've been so busy with other things.

I don't have much to say on the matter that hasn't been said at the above link and the various links to be found at the above link. But I will say this, which I suppose is a precis of various things I've said before. I have been a reader for as long as I can remember, a writer for longer, and recently I'm involved in publishing, too, and I've seen a great many writers who don't deserve it being lauded. Justin Isis, for once, is a writer who deserves to be lauded.

Thanks for the interest.You may have noticed the name of the publisher. I have a feeling we’ve had a discussion that touched on this before. ‘Chomu’ is the Japanese pronuniciation of what would be ‘diemeng’ in Mandarin. As in: 蝶梦. Or 蝶夢.
