International Wota and Chomu Press present: I Wonder What Idol Flesh Tastes Like, a contest

I quote from the text announcing the contest here:

To celebrate International Wota’s upcoming Cake Day and the recent release of Justin Isis’ debut short story collection from Chomu Press, I Wonder What Human Flesh Tastes Like, the two are getting together for a contest of exotic (and perhaps questionable) taste.

Please click on the link to read the details. In summary, there are personalised copies of I Wonder What Human Flesh Tastes Like, by Justin Isis, and YesAsia gift tokens to be won by describing which Japanese idol you would most like to eat, and in what manner you would prepare them for the table.

  1. As a purely academic exercise I would eat Sho Aikawa out of admiration. I know that he probably doesn’t count as an idol. Plus I don’t know who I would want to eat to remove from the face of the earth, or how I would ‘prepare’ Sho.

  2. I expect he doesn’t count. ‘Idol’ has very limited application in Japanese.Nice academic try, though. Please excuse my sluggish response – I feel positively reptilian recently.
